Who we are
Bims Laundry Cafe, 11014 19th Ave SE, Suite 19A, Everett, WA 98208, runs this website and our laundromat, wash and fold, pickup and delivery, dry cleaning and commercial laundry services. This policy explains what we collect through the website and our other contact channels, and what we do with it. You can reach us at info@bimslaundry.cafe or 425-610-7147.
What we collect
Contact and quote forms. When you submit a form on this site, we receive what you type into it:
- Contact form: your name, email, phone number, what you are asking about, and your message.
- Commercial quote forms (commercial laundry and spa and salon pages): your name, business type, business name, service city, phone, email, estimated laundry volume, how soon you need service, and your message.
- Event linen pilot form: your name, business name, work email, phone, website or profile link, business type, monthly volume, and next event date.
- Review form: your name, city, star rating, review, an optional email and order number, and your consent to publish your name and review on this site.
Form entries are stored on our website and emailed to us.
Booking through Cents. Our booking page shows a form run by Cents, the order software our store uses. What you enter there goes to Cents, and Cents sends the order texts and emails you receive about your pickup. Cents’ own privacy policy applies to that information: Cents privacy policy.
Calls, texts and email. If you call, text or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you tell us.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies in your browser. It tells us which pages are viewed, how far people scroll, which outbound links are clicked, when a form is started or submitted (but not what was typed into it), and when someone taps our call, text, email or booking buttons. It also reports general information such as your device, browser and approximate location. You can opt out with Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Chat. A chat assistant provided by Chatbase appears on our pages. Chat conversations on the site are handled and stored by our chat provider, Chatbase, so that the assistant can answer your questions. Please do not type personal details you do not want stored. See the Chatbase privacy policy.
Maps. The contact page includes a Google Map, and Google may set its own cookies when it loads.
How we use it
We use what you send us to answer your questions, prepare quotes, schedule and run orders, publish reviews you have agreed to share, keep spam out of our forms, and see how the site is used so we can improve it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run these functions: Cents (booking and order texts), Google (analytics, maps, and the email service that delivers our form notifications), Chatbase (chat), Namecheap (website hosting), and the writing and notification tools described under Google reviews below. Our host receives your IP address and browser details when your device loads the site, as any web host does. These providers handle information under their own privacy policies, including Google’s.
Google reviews and our Business Profile
We read and reply to the public reviews that people leave on our Google Business Profile. To do this we use an internal tool called Agent OS Bims, which the owner connects to the Google account that manages our profile. It asks Google only for permission to manage that profile, and it receives the same public review details anyone can see: the reviewer’s display name, star rating, review text, date, and our replies. We use them to notice new reviews and to write and post replies. We do not collect data from Google accounts beyond what is needed to manage our own profile, we do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising. We use service providers, including AI writing tools, to help draft replies to public reviews and to alert our team about new reviews. Bims Laundry Cafe’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
We keep form entries and emails for as long as we need them to respond to you, run orders and keep normal business and tax records. A review you ask us to publish stays on the site until you ask us to remove it. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention setting.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete what you sent us, or to take down a review you submitted on this site, by contacting us below. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the add-on above, or block cookies in your browser settings. A review you posted on Google can be edited or deleted from your Google account.
Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
